WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit of God inspired the human authors of the Holy Scriptures. Thus, the Bible is “God-breathed.” The sixty six books of the Old and New Testaments are infallible and our final, absolute authority for all we believe and for how we are to live.
WE BELIEVE that God is the Eternal King. He is an infinite, unchangeable Sprit; perfect in holiness, wisdom, goodness, justice, power, and love. He is the One and only God; maker of heaven and earth, manifested in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That He was conceived and born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. He is humanity as God intended us to be. We believe that He is God’s Anointed One, the Messiah and was empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God’s Kingdom on earth. He is fully God and fully man. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven, and is alive today at the right hand of God the Father. He has been given all authority in the heavens and in earth. He is King of kings and Lord of lords. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no man comes to the Father except through Him. The name of Jesus Christ is the only name by which man can be saved.
WE BELIEVE that all people are sinners; guilty before God, deserving of judgment, and in need of a Savior. We believe that salvation from sin, death and hell is by God’s grace, based on the work of Jesus Christ alone, and is received by faith apart from any human performance or merit. No ordinance, ritual, work or any other activity on the part of man is required or accepted in order to be saved. This saving grace of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, also sanctifies us by enabling us to do what is pleasing in God’s sight in order that we might be progressively conformed to the image of Christ.
WE BELIEVE in the finished work of the Cross of Christ. We believe that upon receiving the free gift of salvation, we are a new creation; our old life has passed away and a brand new life has begun. We believe that at this very moment, we receive all the benifits of the cross and therefore do not need to work to acheive those things; we simply need to believe and receive.
WE BELIEVE in the Person of the Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells and empowers all believers in Jesus Christ and that He is our abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. Subsequent to our conversion, the Spirit desires to fill, empower, and anoint believers for ministry. We also believe that signs and wonders, as well as all the gifts of the Spirit described in the New Testament are operative today and are designed to testify to the presence of the Kingdom and to empower and edify the Church to fulfill its calling and mission. We practice the laying on of hands for the empowering of the Spirit, for healing, for impartations of gifts of the Holy Spirit and for recognition and empowering of those whom God has ordained to lead and serve the church.
WE BELIEVE that the primary agency for the work of God’s Kingdom is the Church, functioning under the sovereignty of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. The Church exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and further advance His Kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God’s love, discipling the nations, baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God. God has given the Church apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. We believe in the priesthood of all believers and that every believer is called and gifted to proclaim the gospel and to do all the works of the kingdom. We believe that the Church of God has been called to preach the gospel to every creature and make disciples of every nation.
WE BELIEVE the Church has been entrusted with the ordinances of Water Baptism and the Lord’s Supper and should be practiced regularly by all believers.
WE BELIEVE in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that believers shall lay hands on the sick and see them recover.
WE BELIEVE in the second coming of Christ at the end of the age when He will return to earth personally and visibly to consummate His Kingdom, to judge the world and to claim His Bride, The Church. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto eternal life, and those who are lost unto eternal damnation.
